This Privacy Policy explains how Chest of Reckless Abundance ("the app", "we") handles information when you use this website. We are committed to collecting as little data as possible.

What we collect

The app does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information. When you pull an item from the Chest, the generated item (name, lore, mechanics, and curse) is stored in our database along with its category and tier metadata. No personally identifiable information is attached to stored items — your identity is never recorded.

Your IP address is used transiently by our rate-limiting system to prevent abuse (a maximum of 5 pulls per 10 minutes). IP addresses are not logged or stored by the application.

Third-party services

This app uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Google AdSense — We display advertisements served by Google. AdSense may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing activity. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Ko-fi — A voluntary donation widget is present on this site. If you choose to interact with it, you will be redirected to Ko-fi's platform. Ko-fi's privacy policy governs any data you provide to them.
• Google Fonts — Typography is loaded from Google's Fonts CDN. Google may log the request in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Supabase — Generated items are stored in a Supabase-hosted database. No personal data is included in stored records.

Cookies

The app itself does not set cookies. Google AdSense may set advertising cookies in your browser. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
